Saw a rare sight about two weeks ago along the creek in Red Deer. A blue heron was walking in the shallows, quiet and ellegant. They truely are beuatiful birds. Up north at work on enviroment friendly sagd project. Less disturbance to the ground with these projects. I finished my novel, the fifth one. Wow, I did not think I would write as much. Good morning from Firebag;
I am working on a sagd project to recover heavy oil in Alberta. Steam is injected underground to soften the oil which is then pumped to the surface. Last year the local say a wolverine was spotted at the plant. Very, very rare. I have a hard time believing this to be true.
