Good morning;
My usual walk for coffee this morning had a different turn. We got about 3 inches of fluffy white snow last night. I slipped on the stairs on the Roos Street hill path and fell. Luckily I still bounce. The lab top went down hard also, I need this old girl with the new novel coming up. Should start Monday on that project, hope I can pull it off. Early into my walk a raven flew overhead and cooed. Not the usaul raspy caw, caw, caw. Yesterday a raven right before Timies came flying in from the south in a straight line and a hurry caw three times, then a moment of silence only to repeat. The natives would say I am getting a message from the south soon, a very important message. They are probably right. The usual wood pecker drummed out their beat, the blue jays spoke as they always do, they are niosy birds. The weather man says we are getting colder but the old friend was in the west, could easily hear him, the chinook that is. I think the weatherman is wrong this time. Bye for now. The Jay man from Canada
