Journal 34

Good morning;
Work is delayed, maybe a good thing. It is a beautiful day here in downtown Red Deer. Our city is only one hundred thousand people so it is nice and small. A person can drive from one corner to the other in about twenty five minutes. Most trips take only fifteen minutes. Being small is not always great, the judiciary has been here as an old boys club for far to long. Some judges are third generation people already. I went for my morning Timmies coffee. A beautiful twenty minute walk. A number of robins were singing this morning. I saw the mallard pair over by the bridge over Waskasoo creek. I had thought the hen was on her eggs already, maybe she is and was taking a break. A few times I only saw the drake so I assumed the hen was doing her thing. A fox must have been close by for I could smell the pungent odor. Maybe looking for mallard eggs. Well bye for now, the jay man.
