Good morning world:
It was a beautiful weekend here in Red Deer. I did not blog yesterday, had to give it a rest. I saw young fox whelps behind the arenas by Waskasoo creek. These young animals were about six inches high and like all young dog like pups were play fighting and wrestling. I could tell the young foxes enjoyed the horse play for the young foxes seemed to have a smile on their faces. This morning the geese took wing from the little creek bed. It is always a nice surprise to hear their honks in the morning. The crows have really become less noisy, almost as if they sense they were making to muck racket. I wonder if they know, it is possible. The plants in the city park flower garden are beginning to green and the dirt is not bare anymore. Soon a picture of beauty will overwhelm all visitors. They say the city planner in the fifties took care of the gardening chores himself for the city had not yet a budget for such extravagance. If he is still alive I say 'well done', now that is civic duty beyond anything that is called for. It is nice that we have such people in this world of ours, ready to give of themselves without any benefit. Bye for now, the Jay man.
