Journal 36

Good afternoon;
Received word this morning returning to work on May 13. good show, about time. Have to get ready for the one hour flight in and out to work. Did my usual mo0ring walk for Coffee at Timmies. A goose pair landed on Waskasoo creek, I thought the female would be on the eggs by now. Maybe it is her time away from the nest. They better be smart or old foxy will get the eggs. I forgot to mention that yesterday saw a flock of about thirty swans heading north and then north west. I guess there has to be something about old twisted tree and the old growth forest reserve along Waskasoo creek. The belt is only a couple hundred feet wide but it is enough for the wild life. We should plan our cities better with green belts in them. It just is a better place for everyone including the birds and animals to live. The crows have been less noisy. They were bothersome before. The robins always sing. I saw the small version of a woodpecker today in rotary park. It is just across from Waskasoo park. Well bye for now, Jay
